This is not a forum where we talk about Steroids... BUT, I'll tell you, I've been on other forums where they do, and the big steroid junkies tell kids your age "You probably have higher test levels than me when I'm on a cycle" So don't waste your time, work hard and do it naturally.

ORIGINAL: unisole I am 16 and been bodybuilding for bout 1 month now only just started, is it worth going on steroids? will they make me beefed up? what are good about steroids and the bad things? 1 month.. come on. This site does not promote Juice, I never said if i do or dont. I will tell you if you are 100% serious about it talk to a profestional. not a juicer at the gym. If you are serious about then sit with your Doc and tell him, he will tell you not to do them but you can convice him you will do them 1 way or another. Tell him what exactly you can get and ask him the side affects of them. I guarantee you that once you ask to the doc about the side affects and the possible outcomes of the stuff you will not even talk about it again. I am 22. I lifted from 18-21.5 Seriously. 6 days a week, high protein diets and getting large. I did not use steriods but they were everywhere once you got started. The feeling of accomplishment with out the stuff is so much better. If you want to e-mail me a list of the stuff you can get weather its D-Bol or whatever, I will tell you what I know about them and what has happened to my freinds who have used them.

1.Any bodybuilder on steroids is cheating-i would not be impressed with any of there results, even if they had 30 inch arms, id shrug and wouldn't care 2.Anyone even thinking about steroids is either ill educated about steroids, doesnt care what they stick in there body, or pressured to be better 3.Taking steroids ****s you up quite frankly, at aged 16 itl be even worse due to your hormone levels etc 4.dont take them 5.dont take them 6.DONT ****ING TAKE THEM I hate steroids, its one of the nastiest drugs ever, not in bodybuilding, just drugs in general. Ive never thought about doing them, never will do, and anyone who takes steroids i would have a lack of respect for them. You're 16 and been training for a month, come on man, just train naturally, you can get to seriously good levels naturally, and even better levels with creatine etc which are good supplements.

Ask someone who was once on juice and is not now, why he quit? If juice is so "cool," why do bodybuilders who get "smart" quit taking it? Whats the answer to that anyway ON? Unisole. You can learn about steroids and their effects all around the web. We cannot influence your decision to walk down the cheating path, thats yours to make. www.bodybuilding.com has general information on steroids and their effects. To be honest, you've only just started training. You have so much natural potential that you are going to waste if you get started. You would get alot bigger if you stayed natural for longer.

Some negative aspects of steroids: Increased growth of androgen-sensitive hair (pubic, beard, chest, and limb hair) - can be good if you don't have any hair, which you don't I'm sure but it'll come. Increased libido - makes you a sex maniac. Ever heard all those stories about rapists on steroids? Impaired spermatogenesis - that means sperm production, making you sterile. Accelerated bone maturation in children - wouldn't it be great with the bones of a 40-year-old at age 20? Increased breast growth (in males) - fat pecs alright, made out of fat Elevated blood pressure and chlolesterol levels Severe acne Premature baldness Reduced sexual function Testicular atrophy (they get smaller) Enlargement of the heart, increasing the risk of cardiovascular disease Damage to the liver. The anabolic effects of steroids sure are cool, but the side effects, not so.

Just to make sure that we are clear..... I'm not a proponet of steroid use but as a Biochemistry student I would like to note that not everyone suffers side effects and if they do then it is extremely rare that anyone experiences them all. My point is that when someone lists the side-effects of a particular substance then many people automatically assume that if you take it then you will suffer from ALL of the listed side-effects. THis is simply not true. The only reason for my commenting in this thread is to provide accurate information in the hope of keeping it real. There is risk associated with everything we do in life and being armed with accurate information is how we make correct decisions and avoid harm. Just like lifting correctly. Regards, Sy

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drug errr no offence sy But you need to hit them books a little harder Steroids IS a drug, anything that affects the body in a chemical way whether it is made in the human body naturally or not is a drug A lot of drugs given in medication are naturally occuring in the body, a drug can entail MANY things, as long as it chemically affects you it is technically a drug. He is correct in the side effect thing though Not everyone will get side effects

He is correct in the side effect thing though Not everyone will get side effects Actually, the books are my life and a dictionary definition trumps a Wikipedia entry everytime. See here for a more granular definition of "Drug"--> http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=drug You see, 'drug' is an umbrella term for an entire range and class of substances that effect the CNS (Central Nervous System), what you refer to however is the Political definition of a substance..... There is a big diference. Hence I said the Androgenic Steroids are not a drug 'per se', which means in the classic sense of the word. Steroids are an Androgenic Hormone meaning that they act specifically to regulate the masculine charicteristics of the human body. As we are talking specifics, let me put it to you this way. Tofu contains not only protien but eostrogen as well...... Does that then make Tofu a drug? I think not according to the dictionary definition of components because it is a food but nonetheless contains a female Hormone. Another way of looking at it, if you eat a foodstuff containing Testosterone (animal testicles for instance) are you taking Drugs? Hmmmmmmmm. Not even politically. ;-) Let's hope that this clears it up for you. However, anything that messes with the natural balance of your body will compromise another system elsewhere as it is a delicate equalibrium machine. So that's why I personalyl don't think it is a good idea but it is good to be informed. Sy
