i think you mean bill starr's but that's what i'm doing right now so far i'm working out with 5 lb. more on bench squats barbell rows and inclines and working out with 10 lb. more on deadlifts.I've been doing it for 3 weeks i acually missed 1 full workout and squats and barbell rows for another one so it could be even better reslts than that i guess..

From personal experience I can tell you HST is a good program, sadly my diet was never in line until recently or im sure it would have been much better.

I read over the frankyNY's guide, I can say I agree/disagree with some of the things he said. I dont really know much about the program, I havent really seen one like it myself. Im sure someone with some more experience can help you more here, but in the end its up to you...

Like you mentioned with the calories, no matter which routine you go with, just make sure your getting the ample amount of calories and ratios and I think you will gain mass regardless of which one you choose.

Both programs look good.  Personally, I'd go with Smoundzou's program.

I tried to Frankie NY mass building routine last year.

I am quite sure I gained at least 20 pounds in around 3 months. I can't give you exact numbers, but when I was doing that routine, I got the biggest gain ever.

However, I can't credit the result to the program alone. At that time, I had not been doing legs, and my diet was crap. I started doing legs, and ate a lot when I tried the program.
