Hello i am new here and recently i hurt my neck on push ups from a stability ball when it happened my neck felt extremely tensed and straightened out. Now when i do bench press or push ups or any type of movement using the neck my neck hurts a little and i get severe migraines (i mean they are BAD) all over my head. This doesn't happen when i am not doing tough physical activity but it is killing me in the gym and after the gym my head is about to explode and i about passed out driving down the road today i need help bad what is this?

Id ask your doctor about medicine they make specifically for migranes. I used to get them really bad and my mom still gets them but she got this medicine from her doctor and the migranes still happen but there much more manageable. Really helped her out alot.
Sometimes you just gotta go out there and get it done, You know.. Give Er

I've experianced migranes in the gym, i thought it was because i was straining all my body, rather than the muscles i was trying to train. For some reason, a bit of cardio seemed to sort it out, i dont know if it was because blood was being pumped more efficiently to my head or anythin. Try: 1. making sure you're well hydrated 2. make sure youre using weight you can actually lift safely with correct form 3.REST! =D make sure you see a doctor! the best opinion you'll recieve is from a medical practicioner =]

You are probably getting muscle tension headaches. I would either take a little time off or reduce the intensity and weight to where you dont get headaches for a few weeks. A muscle relaxer will probably be your best bet to fix the problem, not normal headache medicine. In any event, the best idea is to see a doctor to make sure you dont have something more serious wrong.

If they are persistent migraines, you might want to consider seeing a doctor. A sudden, very severe migraine that does not lessen in intensity you absolutely want to see a doctor, and fast. Particularly if you suffer from high blood pressure or have a family history of aneurysm.
