asin.rice.man, at that size I hope you are playing high school rugby or you are going to be a scrumhalf!  The smallest guy in my scrum on my team is @190.

I hope you do get to play.  Rugby is fantastic and once you play, no matter where in the world you go, you will always find a friend.

rucknmaul, dont forget cardio for Rugby.  The best think you can do is jogging with sprinting every minute or so.  Rugby is all about short fast bursts.  How quick you can recover to do it again is what seperates the good players form the great players.

I would recomend Squats and Deadlifts, for scrum training.

They both build mass and leg strength.  Also if you are a 2nd row / lock you need good ab and lower back strength to keep your torso straight when driving the scrum.  Also make sure you work your calves, they are often over looked and one of the first muscle to give up on you!

During a Rugby match you will use every muscle you have so a complete workout regiment is ideal, but get the leg stregth first.

just to let you know, i am only 160 lbs, and i am playin 8 man for division 2 in high school.

so hopefully asian.rice.man, you are younger than me to be that small.

This season so far i played 8, outside center, and wing.  This is actually only my second season, so i would say i am still learning the small rules.

and my calves were the first the give out my first time playing 8 man. lol

The unreal is more powerful than the real because nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it. Only intangible ideas last. Stone crumbles. Wood rots. People, well, they die. But things as fragile as a thought, a dream, a legend, they can go on and on
