Just starting back up this Tuesday..

You think Starting Strength + isolations would be good enough to get size..because I want to give HST a break.
Currently Bulking Big Time:

Started 9-7 @ 147 lbs

Goal - To not stop bulking until spring and gain at least 3 lbs a month

how long were you on HST? if you weren't gaining on hst don't quit just eat more..but yes i think starting strength would be good even without isolations, when i did bill starr's (alot like starting strength) i didn't add isolations because after doing all those compound sets as hard as possible and adding weight all the time I already feel like i've done enough..But adding a couple iso's isn't wrong i just wouldn't myself since it could weaken your compound lifts.

Na I read that sticky and I did all the beginners routines. Thing is I'm just getting back into it and I was wondering if Starting Strength with isolatons would still be effective. I'll try to figure one out in school tommorow then post it up here.
