 Routine Question

Routine Question - Wednesday, July 02, 2008 5:34 PM
OK so I finally understand HST but I am wondering about my routine...

Workout A
Squats
Incline Bench Press
OH Press
Bent Over BB Rows
Weighted Pullups

Workout B
Deadlift
Flat Bench
Arnolds
Seated Rows
Weighted Pullups

I got this off of the threads but was wondering if i should lose the rows...there is only one of legs shoulders and chest on each day but 2 and 3 of back with the rows pullups and deads.  Is this right or should it be altered...it seems to be consistent with the other routines i have seen.

Well deads are hips (glutes, hamstrings, spinal erectors) and not really "back" as we think of it but with the pullups you don't need the rows. I think that you could make a decision based on how you feel and it would work out just fine.
5'6" 125/ Bench: 115 / Front squat: 90 / Deadlift: 205 / Pullups: 10

Ok great.  I feel fine doing both I guess i just didnt know if having them both would be a bad thing or if i should double up on something else or just leave em out all together.  I guess ill leave em in for now unless i hear otherwise.  thanks!

you could maybe put in weighted dips on A day and do your rows on B day.
bench = 210 x 1 (7/26/08)
squat = 290 x 1 (7/31/08)
deadlift = 335 x 1 (7/29/08)
Power Clean = 135 3x5 (7/29/08)

I love slow days at work!

Do powercleans instead
Squats are better than steroids
