My wife also wants to tone her body to add more curves and eliminate more body fat. She's sexy as it is, but wants some target areas toned, like adding more to her calves, reducing the fat around the abs and triceps, etc.
I know we can't spot reduce, so she actually is doing the same 3-day split routine I'm doing, but with lighter weights (Day1=
Chest-Triceps, Day2=
Back-Biceps,
Day3=Legs-Shoulders), using the exact same exercise for men.
My question is, is it okay to proceed with this training?
Or follow a video I bought for her before entitled THE FIRM, WHOLE BODY WORKOUT (W/ EMPHASIS ON THE THIGHS & BUNS)? The video is cardio & weight lifting combined with more exercises on the Legs. Problem is it is a
full-body workout, so she can only do it once a week since her muscles need to
rest to grow, right?
Halp! Which should she choose! She doesn't want to bulk up, just get the "beach body" figure! Thanks!
