RS,
How much CM do you take?  Every day or just w/o days?  How much water do you drink a day?  What do you  think the CM does for you, besides size?  Thx!  :)

I only take 5g CM on my 3 w/o days, and none on off days.  I don't drink much water except what's in all the milk I drink and during workouts with carb punch mixed in.

Just on carb up days about 7 times.  over a gallon a day of water, close to 2 if Im playin alot of basketball or something physical.  CM makes you stronger without question.  You should take it everday not just work out days, you need to stay saturated.  And drink a ton of water lol, thats like one of the main things a bodybuilder should be doing.

Thanks RS!  I just hate that "have to pee" feeling all the time.  :(  Will try it every day and drink a gal of water/day.  You say I'll turn into a beast?  ;)  Is 5g/day enough for those not doing keto?  Thx!

5g is enough after your saturated.  You can get there slowly by doing 5g a day or you can load it.  Take 20g a day for a week then 10g a day for a week then 5g a day after that.  Loading it will get you saturated faster.

Re:RollingStone's Journal - Friday, October 30, 2009 12:27 PM ( #619 )
2 Quick question RS if you got a second,

When would you suggest taking an EC stack? I've decided to go with Primatene for the Eph (12.5mg) and Reg Caff (200mg), i've been instructed to go with 25mg of the Eph, so two doses of the EC Stack throughout the day and spread the timing apart.

Keep in mind i have school from 7:30-2:30 and im usually in the gym at 3:00-30. Would it be smart to have both doses in me before the workout?

Another question for you is, What are your Keto Macros during the week, and on your "Carb up" days?
I was going to go 55f-40p-5c <-- Fibrous Veggies and 55c-40p-5f on Carb up days? Does that look alright? I've read your supposed to keep your protien intake (1g per lb) the same throughout the diet and i was just going to "flip flop" the fat and carb intake accordingly. Also, i planned on starting the carb up PWO Friday ( Saturday Rest )until Sunday when i would start back up with "Fat Diet" PWO Sunday.

What do you think? Any Suggestions?

wait, 2 doses of 25mg or 2 doses of 12.5?  Im assuming the 2nd because considering 50mg all at once is a lot. The best ratio of eph. to caffeine is apparently 1/10.  So 25mg ephedrine should go best with 250mg caffeine.  25mg/200mg is pretty good though.
The good thing about taking it all before your workout is crazy energy - at least the first few times me and my friend took it we felt like what we imagined to be being on steroids, but you build up a tolerance quickly.  The energizing feeling will wear off but that fat burning does not, so even though you might not feel it as much - it is still working the same.

The good thing about spreading it apart is better appetite supression.  This stuff kills your appetite but if you take it all at once you might forget to eat for a few hours and then when it wears off eat a huge meal to compensate once you realize that youre hungry.

Ephedrine is great for fat loss but I started to abuse it along with caffeine.  My regular daily dose im guessing late july and early august was around 800-1000mg caffeine and 75-87.5mg ephedrine.  I was having trouble staying awake or doing anything without it.  Also my biggest dose (usually 400 caffeine with 37.5mg ephedrine) taken right before tha gym would cause me to crash when I got home and I almost inevitably took a couple hour nap everyday after my workouts.  Adrenal burnout.  Realize that your constant sympathetic nervous system stimulation is not good for your body and decide on a dose and stick to it.  If you find yourself saying, "hey maybe this will help me get through this activity a lot easier," eh...

65/30/5 (F/P/C) is the recommended.  But are you really gonna watch?  Id go crazy trying to count out everything I ate.  I just try for 1g protein per lb. lbm and to get more g fat than I do protein.  You dont need to count calories on keto because you just wont be hungry.  The diet does the work for you.  Just dont let your protein grams go above your fat grams.  Carb up day I dont count either but Im guessing my carbs to protein/fat ratio is a bit higher than what you suggested simply because I take in 1000s of calories over maintenance on that day and its almost all carbs.

If you drink on weekends, dont do your carb up on the weekend.

If you want to be real serious about the carb load, the best guide I have ever come across on carbing up is this http://www.thinkmuscle.com/articles/mcdonald/carb-up-and-ketogenic-diet.htm  - gets into perfect detail on everything about the carb up.

Coming off the carb load.  I wish I had my weight.  Its not as high as last time because I only went for about 24 hours.  I really dont even have a guess but I took some measurements.

Shoulders: 54"
Arms: 16"  Ive wanted 16s for a while now.  Now I guess my goal is to get them even w/ my calves which also shot up.
Calves: 17.25"
Chest: 45.5"
waist relaxed: 34.25"

Everythings definitely bigger than last time measuring...but Im really tryin to cut it all up again and get real dry like I used too.  Its been 2 days carbing, 5 days no carbs for a while and I never get down as low as Id like.

Re:RollingStone's Journal - Friday, October 30, 2009 6:43 PM ( #623 )
Yeah, it would be two doses.. of (12.5/100) to equal (25/200) Im gonna try to find some Caffiene pills with just 100mg each because most of them are 200. About the addiction and reliance... that's the part i'm worried about, i'll just have to make a pact with myself and stay with just the 25/200 per day and let the EC/Keto do it's part while i do mine in the gym.

About the ratios.. i doubt i'll be counting to the calorie but i definetely wanted a pretty strong idea of what i should strive for. Thanks for the help/advice. I'll be taking a look at the read suggested.

I'll be stopping in from time to time to see how things are going and if anything pops up, i'll be sure to ask =]
