Ripping it up, critique 3-day full body 4me - Friday, February 06, 2009 7:21 PM ( #1 )
My mums computer fizzled out and I don't get much workout time anymore because she is in my room playing warcraft before I wake up and shortly before I go to sleep. Its very cramped in here, I took the door off so I can use the squat rack but the barbell lands on the computer chair so I can't really use it until someone moves off of my computer! Neighbors computer fizzled out too so I got two Warcrack addicts in my room now!

I'm trying to hit ~165Lbs sometime in April, I eat 1700-1800 calories on the days I do little on (maybe pullups), and 1900-2000 calories on the days I lift on. Sometimes I'm in the middle if I only run, being around 1800-1900 calories. I also currently pin myself around 16-18% bodyfat based on caliper and mirror.

I'm pissed, angry, frustrated, disgusted with myself, etc, I look in the mirror and I see a smaller version of myself, just as fat, just as lame. I might start a log if I hold down this new routine.

Be blunt and straight forward with the critique and don't worry about overvolting my nerves.

Monday
Deadlift: 3X5, 1X5, 3X5
Flat bench: 2X5, 1X2, 3X5
OH Press: 3X5
Weighted Pullups: 2X8
Lunges: 2X15

Tuesday
Long run
Distance

Wednesday
Squat: 3X5 135#, 3X5 205#
Calf raises: 2X20
Weighted dips: 3X20
Barbell rows: 2X24
pushups: max set

Thursday
Short run
Distance
Time

Friday
Deadlift: 3X5 1X5, 3X5
Flat bench: 2X5, 1X2, 3X5
OH Press: 3X5
Pullups: Max effort
Lunges: 2X15

throw some dips in there somewhere and do maore reps on the bench and deads

I already have dips on Wednesday or are you saying I should add more in on all days? Friday I might alter the pullups to five max effort sets or a pyramid, depending on how I feel.

As for the bench and deadlift, how does 4X8 sound, I do it mainly for strength, not size, I'll need to lower my weight a little to do eight reps.

Yea sorry i didnt see the dips there ... its good where it is as for the bench and deads maybe a 3x8 would be good enough i think... but go as heavy as you safely can IMO
