Hey, one of my friends takes these REV energy pills before a workout and he says they give him a massive boost of energy but i'm not too sure it if is healthy or not. Do you guys had experience with this? Any info? The contents of the product seem healthy, lots of green tea exracts and such. But is it damaging on the body?

I'd have to see the label, I'm curious if it has ma-hunag (a.k.a Ephedra) in it. Just in case you wondered, when you read these lables: Green Tea = Caffiene Kola Nut = Caffiene Guarana = LOTS of Caffiene And some of the labels say "NO ADDED CAFFIENE!" Of course not, the ingredients they use already have so much they don't have to add any. Personally, I occasionally will take a stimulant before a workout if I'm feeling really crappy, but I don't take them regularly, because when I stop, I feel knocked on my @$$. They DO make me lift better though.

I used to take Ripped Fuel before workouts while I was in college but only half the dosage and that used to give me good energy boosts. However, after a year or so, I started getting heart fluttering which scared me into dumping ephedra for good. Now I occasionally take an ephadra-free (mostly just caffeine) pill before a workout if I'm feeling a little on the tired side. One of my friends at school turned me on to ripped fuel and he took it religiously before every workout. He absolutely wouldn't workout without it. Don't get to the point like this where you can't have a good workout without some kind of stimulant. Try your best to eat enough that you have enough energy at the gym and use caffeine as an occasional energy booster when your just having a sluggish day.
