OK guys, well here's my stats right now (6/29/06)

pretty close to 6'2
204 lbs (weighed in this morning)
bf% not sure, estimated about 20% using measurements and my scale (that sounds way too high, and i know those bf% measurements are not accurate, im ordering calipers soon)
My maintenance calories are near 2800.. and i'm aiming for 2000-2200 cals a day

My goal is to either have a 6 pack by september (or at least a week into september) or to weigh 185 by then, whether or not i have a 6 pack, being 185 would be great.

Workouts for 6/29/06
This morning for cardio i did:
-bike for 20 minutes on level 20 hill, burned 130 cals
-Treadmill at 8+ mph, for 8 minutes for 150 calories. My Meals today

Football practice from 1-3
-light weight lifting for 45 mins
-core for 15 mins (sit ups, twisting sit ups, hold push up position)
-then some agility stuff (box jumping+ running around cones, etc)
-Deep squat jumps up bleachers
-then some side to side 1-leg jumps for 30 seconds (once each leg, and then a double leg forward and back)
-Then some 1 leg bounds (4 in a row, from cone to cone) x5
-2 lap jog
Estimated probably 250 or 300 cals burned (i'm not sure but thats just what i would guess, along with the fact that this workout was done in mid 90s heat)

Diet 6/29
9AM
  • 1.5 cups of 100% egg whites
  • 1/3 cup mozarella
  • 1 slice of ham cut up
  • And i cooked them all into an omelete and added salt.  Ill post nutritonal facts later
  • 42 oz cup of ice water
  • total facts- 267 cals, 10g fat, 4g carb, 42g pro.
11 AM
  • Chewy bar
  • 120 cals,4g f 20g c 2g p
3:30 PM
  • Subway sandwich (6 inch ham+turkey+provolone+lettuce on wheat)
  • Some light ranch from home
  • 44oz cup ice water
  • 420 cals, 15g f, 53g c, 23g pro (probably less because this # is from the subway sandwich with onions, tomatoes, peppers, etc)

I got 2 footlongs so i will finish the day off with another 6in and then have a foot left over for tmrw woohoo.

5:30 PM
  • Apple (the red-yellow one, fuji i think)
  • Other 1/2 of my subway
  • 545 cals, 16g f, 85g c, 23g pro (probably less because this # is from the subway sandwich with onions, tomatoes, peppers, etc)
6:30
  • Banana
  • 125 cals, 1f, 32c, 1p
Then i left for the fair with some friends.
We went on some crazy rides and my friend got a sprite.  I took a sip because i wasnt feeling so good after all the rides and spinning and stuff.  This isn't that important, however at 9 i slipped up, and was feeling really bad so i decided to get a small ice cream cone.  I guess this is my cheat meal for the week. (estimated 166 cals, 8f, 21c, 3p)

For the day my final #s were 1643 cals, 54g fat, 214g carb, 94g pro.
it was a 30/47/23 split and 86oz water. Today was a bad day because of the fair and i'm going to try alot harder tmrw.

Ok, day 2.  Hopefully today will go a lot better..

The day started off good, i weighed in at 199 (5 lb less than yesturday), so maybe i'm starting from a lower weight than i thought.. either way i hope i really am 199 and not 204.

No workouts, as i'm still not feeling great from last night.  May work out later though..
UPDATE: i helped my friends mom move for 4 hours.  thats four hours of light to heavy lifting along with plenty of running up and down stairs and walking around.. id say i burned 300 cals.

10AM- Wake
10:10AM- same omelete as yesturday ( 267 cals, 10g fat, 4g carb, 42g pro)
12:50AM- 6in sub from yesturday + less lt ranch (380 cals, 12g f, 51g c, 22g pro)
1PM- 32oz water
3PM- 32oz water, 6in sub, same as before (380 cals, 12g f, 51g c, 22g pro)
5 - 9PM- 50oz water and like 4oz apple juice (60 cals, 14g c)
10PM - salad + mozarella + ham + lt ranch + 32oz water (224 cals, 15g f,  12g c,  16 pro)
11PM - banana (125 cals, 1g f, 32g c, 1g pro)
12PM - banana + 32oz water (125 cals, 1g f, 32g c, 1g pro)

Today wasn't good because i had to help my friend's mom move, it took 2x as long as we thought, which messed everything up, i ended up with only 1179 cals and a 28/44/28 fcp ratio and drinking 188oz water

Ok, the reason i havent been goin to the gym is that my coach made us do monkey bars the other day at practice and i got huge blisters on my hand, they're almost healed and i need to get to the gym soon.  I'll start up again on monday, ill try to get some cardio in today though.

alright i doubt anyone's stil reading this, but if you dont get it already, i suck at dieting lol.  I slipped up today and family was over and stuff and i had a cheeseburger, mac n cheese, and some cake and so i pretty much had a s***y day.  Family was over and this was the last time.. it was an early 4th of july party. no more ****in excuses.  im done with excuses.

Im looking forward to see how it goes for you man.

im currently 6`1 and 175, however i was 205 in februrary before i started cutting so kind of in same boat as you.
i was 17 when i started the cutting phase.

I don't know if your against it or not but a thermogenic fat burner would probaly aid you and your journey.

I took Ephedrine+Caffeine and it did help me, but i still ate good and did 5-6 meals a day, cardio 4-5 times a week and weight lifting.

And dont forget a 6-pack is made in the kitchen.

Keep up the good work.

thanks man i just got back from 2 vacations so im gonna be working hard this week and then football starts.. hell week, ill definatley be able to lose some weight there.

I'm gonna try to do this all natural.. because i dont want anyone (including myself) to be able to say "well u used a supp to lose the weight".. i wanna do it with my own hard work with no help.  That and the fact that many weight loss supps seem like they are just damn placeibos (spelling?).

thanks for the encouragement, congrats on ur weight loss too!

those people that say oh well you used a diet pill to lose weight or you used creatine to gain muscle are as dumb or ignorant as the people that think that creatine is a steroid
