I made a post a little while back about the usage of Muscle Milk while cutting. I'm thinking that a little bit of my unwanted BF is coming from supplementation of MM. Marc suggested using MM Lite but I've only been able to find it in very small containers.

Do any of you have any recommendations of a solid casein or blend NOT containing alot of fats/cholesterol etc. that are typical of this type of protein? ]

Thanks

I dont know if this helps but I recently spoke with a pro and he had some interesting ideas on the whole Casien issue. He basically said that casein was an inferior protein and pretty much junk. The best thing to do would be to take an isolate with natural PB and skim milk before bed. I was using Ultra Peptide for a while and switched over to find that what he said actually works pretty well. I dont know if you are concerned with healthy fats, but there aren't a lot of alternatives in the fat free route.

Inferior?*** Casein protein is the protein that is in Milk. Casein supplements are the isolated proteins produced from milk. If you drink milk before bed you are taking in Milk(casein) protein. PB and cottage cheese(casein) before bed is great, milk and PB is fine as well. ***Ask him how inferior it is to be able to fuel your body with slow digesting protein over a long period of time.

compared to an isolate or any other whey for that matter- Casien is inferior. That is my point. If you combine a superior protein with something that will slow the digestion-NPB-you are putting a better product in your body and cheaper.

even with PB its not going to last nearly as long...

i usually take a half serving whey, PB, and cottage cheese all before i sleep.
