ROTATOR CUFF UNSURE??

About 4 months ago i had an injury at work where my arm was pulled back, the pain had virtually gone until yesterday when i did some dips at the gym, no pain while doing them but afterwards, now my shoulder is back to the way it was. The pain is at the side of my sholder slighly under the joint (i would say about 2 inches above where you would get an injuection in the upper arm, BCG) It only hurts in certain motions, for instance if my arms are by my side and i rotate the back of the hand intoward my body i get pain which lasts a while, i also can't do pull downs as that hurts as well, although i have no problems with most exercise such as bench pressing. Does this sound like rotator cuff or possibly tendon problem? Brad.

I agree. There's no way, even when describing an injury in detail like that, that anyone here can tell. The best thing to do is go see a doc.

It does not sound like your RC at all if you can bench. But, as was said already, someone needs to look at it. If I had to guess, based on what you wrote, it sounds more like a sprain, that involves ligaments. But without looking at you, I cannot tell go get looked at
