Hello everybody, i'm new this site and i have a few questions on getting started. i read the topic on motivation because thats one thing i needed and lost la few years ago when i worked out for about 5 months and no results appeared on my body, i guess its cuz my fathers side of the family is over weight and i jus have those genes. but this time i'm trying to change that, i dont wanna be at risk for diabetes or anything else in the future, i want to get in shape. I'm 5'9 and weigh about 200llbs. so i'm not FAT but quite chubby and probably will get bigger...i have these sort of man tits that i really want to take off, what are some good excersises for that? Also, everyones like "oh i wish i had your body weight, you could get big if you work out, dont shed the pounds, jus lift weights", but is that good..should i run every other day, and lift weights every other day?. is there anything i can take like pills or what not to help me get to the point i want to get at. and where i want to get at is just not having these chubby rolls, over here looking like the BUDA lol. I appreciate this site for being here and i thank any of you in advance for guiding me. glad i found this site through google. Hopefully i get some answers and start working it and gettin the confidence i need. Acne used to be my main issue..but thank god that i got rid of that, now being overweight is my main person issue. ALSO i have these things in my inner theighs called keratosis pilaris or folliculitis..i dunno exactly which one, i have to go to the docter but i heard being in shape helps from getting them. please people..guide me!!..thanks a lot!

Welcome to DB! You've found the right site. There's literally a TON of info here. You'll want to kick back, grab some water and start reading the various forums. After about a week, I think you'll really start to see the light. Then when you get a lot of questions and answers into your head, go ahead and post in the right forum for clarification. It's a pretty friendly place. Many people are willing to help if you have a specific answer and need a little help. Enjoy. There's a wealth of great information on Discussbodybuilding.com
