Question about weight loss

I've been working off some weight since Janurary, from 195 down to a fluctuating 175-180. I have a really firm muscle base under my skin, but the main thing I need now is to lose fat. I have a lot of stomach fat, and was wondering if cardio was the only way to get rid of it, or if I could spot train on abs and obliques.

ORIGINAL: ShangriLa I've been working off some weight since Janurary, from 195 down to a fluctuating 175-180. There is no such thing as spot training to reduce fat, doesn't exist. Losing fat is about creating a caloric deficit so that over time your body will have to burn fat to make up the energy difference. Check out this awesome eBook, it contains everything you need to know. http://www.burnthefat.com/?hop=mda1125 Paul
