The trainers at the Buffalo Athletic Center, where I workout.. recommended I talk to one of the older guys there. A buddy and I asked him about Proteins and NO2 products.

I asked him if he recommended 100% Protein Whey.. and he said the following:

"For your protein I would go with Myoplex Protein and Muscle Milk, use the Muscle Milk at night before bed.  Also, instead of products like the overhyped NO-Xplode for your NO2 Supplement I would just take B-Vitamins..especially B5.. L-Arginine.. Choline (Leaithin and Soy). It will save you some cash too."

What do you guys think about what he said? Please reply, thanks alot!

My friends that workout say Creatines are pointless because they just pump water into your muscles. But after that water is gone they just go back down to how they were before with no gains..

Creatine also gives you strength gains, It just happens to bloat your muscles.

Creatine enhances short term intense performance...like lifting...

No-X is like an ego pump..you feel like an ape...but the real gains come from eating right and consistent lifting.

If you feel like a wet noodle in the gym..no-x can fix that...or you can fix your diet and feel like an ape all the time and grow like crazy.

my friend who uses muscle milk says it's really good. If you go to http://bodybuilding.com/store/cs/milk.html and read about it, it seems like a pretty good product. I never tried it cause of the price. It seems pretty expensive if you just look at how much you are paying for grams of protein. You only get 480 grams of protein for 25 bucks plus shipping. While if you buy ON 100% whey you can get 744 grams for like 14 bucks plus shipping. My guess is that the other stuff in it makes up for the price. It's still a top seller on that site, so a lot of ppl still buy it even with the high price. Maybe they keep on buying cause it's pretty good.

For Losing Fat
http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/For_Losing_Fat/m_111175/tm.htm

Mostly dial in the diet, slightly lower than maintenance and train the whole body with a comgination of low reps high weights (stimulate test) and higher reps (stimulate GH)...+some cardio...naps, water intake, etc

creatine puts more water in your muscels which bringe more nutrients to your muscels so that they recover faster and better, it is well worth it if you take in consistently

Ok, that was less then eloquently put.  Do you mean aspartame?

Love my no-xplode.  It isn't really so much of a nitric oxide product as it is something that boosts your energy before your workout.  Take nitrix if you want rock hard muscles.  I don''t care if there are haters out there, it works.  I have to give it up to BSN.  Great products in my opinion.

Lol, yes. The guy up at the gym says eventually products like NO-Xplode will lead to kidney problems and benign(sp?) tumors because of ingredients such as "aspartame".

In the body, synthetic ingredients are often interpreted as some toxin by the body.  The body creates fat cells to store toxins to protect iteslf..as a buffer....some things it tries to dilute and so you get a swelling puffy thing going on.  Needless to say it messes with the metabolism and other stuff.

Aspartame is on the avoid list by the Center for Science in the Public Interest.

Needless to say, it's got problems.

He's close, but didn't give you the full explanation. L-Arginine is not a B-Vitamin. L-Arginine is an amino acid, and the principal metabolite of Nitric Oxide in the body. Hence, it is the primary active ingredient in NO-Xplode and Nitrix (and any other vasodilator supplement on the market, for that matter).

As for the artificial sweetener bit, Aspartame (aka NutraSweet) is comprised of two amino acids, phenylalanine and aspartic acid. Some people have severe allergic reactions to phenylalanine -that's why every product containing NutraSweet must now carry a warning on the label advising phenylketoneurics to steer clear of it. Anytime a food product or additive with a market penetration as large as the one aspartame currently enjoys runs up against clinical studies showing it to be detrimental to your health, the industry trashes the science. If the product is obscure, or not yet widely accepted, then any hearsay, speculation, or rumor will be accepted as science in the public arena.

The jury may still be out on the long-term health effects of artificial sweeteners like NutraSweet, but you should have serious reservations about consuming large amounts of any food additive that has no known nutritive value.
