Pushing Cars

So I'm a long distance runner (you would expect me to be a sprinter on sight) and today we're doing 6 miles but I have to miss practice for a doctor's appointment. Honestly I don't feel like running 6 miles by myself without my track "brothers" because it's boring so I wanna add a lil something. And I plan on doing car pushing. I heard pushing a car is one hell of a workout for legs or chest/shoulders/tri's if feet are planted. Or back and posterior chain it the car is pulled or reverse pushed. So if I were to do a car push for the cardio factor and the strength factor would it be comparable to doing a run?

If you push the car 6 miles it will be the same cardio wise ): Sounds like a pretty good workout though.
