Push ups interfering with recovery

In Taekwondo class, and most any fighting school, push ups are a staple. We do a lot of push ups. Do you think this wll interfere with my Friday max effort bench day? We did about 50 tonight with different hand positions.

not at all, in fact its probably helping you more then anything. Getting blood moving into the muscle. I wouldnt worry about it unless your going well into the hundreds, its a body weight exercise so its pretty safe to do these every day if you wanted to.

Nope, I do push ups, sit ups, pullups, every night. Rarely do I go to 50, but 25-50 each night adds up.. I've never had any problems.
