would you remommend this, and do you consider it cardio or strength training?

I use one all the time. I would consider it more cardio. You can get some strength, but I think it is more cardio.

it strengthened my forearms a bit, but like jane said, its more cardio than strength straining.

yeah I love my punching bag, It strengthens the wrist, forearm and even your shoulders. The majority of it is cardio though, and its tougher than a lot of people think.

um yeah it is hard. especially  if it is a sandbag, you have wraps, gloves, it is a good workout. it is also a good lower body workout if you get the legs involved with kicks, knees, weaves

yeah i agree good wrist forarm and sholder strengthener and more cardio, but you will see some strength gains in punching if u work your self, and i agree with jane get kicks knees and weaves involved its awesome Smile
