[<font]This is just a situation that shows you that all muscles really do work together.

Proper foot placement is feet flat on the floor with your shins perpendicular to the ground.  I even pull my feet in closer towards my head a little bit sometimes.

I get cramps in my hamstring sometimes.  I usually stretch them out beforehand and it helps a lot.

haha... I get cramps in my hamstrings when I bench quite often. How annoying...

that is horrible advice. doing static stretches before u lift will dramatically decrease the amount of weight u can lift.

so make sure u dont stretch before u lift, stretching after u lift though is very beneficial

I agree Stretching before is horrible.  Are we aloud to disagree with each other?

Ya it's better to just warm up using lighter weights, and ramping up to your working weight.

I completely misread this post haha I thought it said squats opps..

But I didn't know that it wasn't good to strech out before, I just do it because my legs are usually a little stiff from working all day and then the time of between working and my lifts.

I'm glad my feet don't touch the floor when I bench.
