Pull up - Head Pain - Wednesday, April 01, 2009 6:27 PM ( #1 )
While I was doing pull-ups, when my head reached its highest point, i felt like it was going to explode.
So i stopped, but i still felt the pain for about a minute or two. During the rest of my training, it was still hurting but it was less intense. Do you know what could have caused this. Did it already happen to you?

Thanks for your answers

Whats your age and weight? Could be a blood pressure problem. Do you hold your breath when doing these or breath through the movement?

The problem is probably incorrect head position or you're not breathing properly.

1. Look up at the ceiling when doing pull-ups and get as high as you can without jerking your body, keep it controlled.

2. Exhale when you pull up and contract back muscles at the top, inhale when you go down or once you're down.
Its not what you know, its what you can do that counts!
