Pull days suck!

Pull days suck! - Tuesday, September 29, 2009 8:54 PM ( #1 )
Can anyone help me out by giving me some advice on how to NOT make my pull days suck! I love push days and dona;t enjoy my pull days. I'm doing a push/pull routine mon-tue  thurs-fri. I'm trying to bulk, so compound movements preffered. two of my four days will be pull days, should both be similar or different? Currently i deadlift, row pulldown or pull up . . . Anything else is greatly appreciated !!!

do they suck because its hard work, cos i like all of those, thought you come out completely fvcked
Bench Press Max - 170kg @ 100kg
Squat Max - 220kg @100kg
Deadlift Max - 275kg @100kg

Weight - 90kg

Dude, I hate pushing exercises so much more.  Rows, deads, pullups....I love em all!

But ya, suck it up and just do it.  That's the only advice I have for you.

For me, I started loving pull days much more since I could get better mind-muscle connection when doing the exercises.

Now I love BO BB rows and pullups! They make my lats pump so much, I feel like having wings! :)

What workouts do you guys do on your pull days??


i dont do push and pull days anymore. i do body part days based around the compounds.
Bench Press Max - 170kg @ 100kg
Squat Max - 220kg @100kg
Deadlift Max - 275kg @100kg

Weight - 90kg

^^^ Me neither.  I do a 4 day split - deadlift, squat, bench, and OH press day.  It's basically an upper/lower split.  Every upper body day has both pushes and pulls in it.  Every lower body day has a deadlift and squat variation as well.

Im also a big fan of the push

Pull days i usually just to Bent over Rows, wide grip chins, deadlifts then i usually just throw a pull exercise with some dumbbells just to even it up with push.
Pain is weakness leaving the body
