Is there a mix of whey and casein product out there?

&

Which would be better?

Truemass with 46g of protien and 100% DV of over 20 vitamins and minerals?

-or-

Cytogainer Lean Muscle Mass with 56g of protien and 1/3 as many vitamins and minerals?

A few of the better blended proteins in my opinion are DS Sustain, Xtreme Formulations Ultra Ppetide and Prolabs Lean Matrix Protein.

I really don't have an opinion on the ones you mentioned since I never tried them.

The ones I listed I have used alot and the feedback on the various boards has been very good

I would suggest just taking whey post workout and then eating a well balanced meal about 2 hours later.  That way you get the casein and the vitamins and minerals, it takes more than just a lot of protein to build muscle.

His question didnt seem to be centered around post workout but more in general.  Casein based protein powders are excellent to take during the day because of their anti catabolic properties and slow release.

I will agree post workout you need a whey(preferable isolate)
