any ideas on how to add more protein to this recipe? i've only made one batch and froze most of them then defrosted them in the moring to take to school and eat during lunch. the first batch i made has ~12 grams of protien per pancake, also it only made 8.

2 cups flour  (its best to use 1 cup of buck wheat to fill you up and any other kind)
1/4 teasppon of banking power
1 Tablespoon of olive oil
5-6 egg whites or liqude eggs
1 whole egg (there are some healthy fats in the yolk)
2 bannas (or any other fruit)
1 Tablespoon of honey
1/4 teaspoon of cinium
1 Tablesppon of vanilla
1 cup of pre cooked oat meal
1/2 cup of soy milk(or rice or regular)
2 cups of protien power.

stir everything up, then poor in a greased pan(pam works wonderfuly, also do the spactula) and cook like regular pancakes. that means cook it on one side for 1-2 min on mid-low heat, flip it when it starts to buble and do the same for the other side.

here ya go

Try this!

PROTEIN WAFFLE / PANCAKES
1 c (4 scoops) VANILLA PROTEIN powder, whey or soy, or rice or veggie (22gram or more per scoop)
1 egg
1/2 c water
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp vanilla
Mix thoroughly and makes 6-8 pancakes or 2 waffles.
OVER 60 g OF PROTEIN PER WAFFLE - LESS THAN 6 CARBS and
18-24 g PROTEIN PER PANCAKE - LESS THAN 2 CARBS !!!
VARIATIONS:
1/2 tsp cinammon
2 tsps pecans, macadamia nuts
1/4 c sliced apples or mashed bananas (or one scoop of banana whey with 3 scoops of vanilla whey)
While hot, use melted butter and warmed pure syrup - maple is the favorite !  Try not to use more than 2 large table spoons
