Pro Hormone Ban - Tuesday, October 19, 2004 3:56 PM
I got this email today:

USFA Update: October 19, 2004

Our lobbyists confirmed with the Senate Enrolling Clerk that S.2195 was "enrolled" and presented to the President on October 13th. Not counting Sundays, that would mean the 10 days would be up on Monday, October 25th. Although the President could sign the bill before that date, failure to sign the bill by the end of the 10 days would result in the automatic enactment of the legislation. If we use October 25th as the end of the 10 day period, the 90 days would begin on October 26th and run until January 23rd. As we understand it, the bill would take effect on January 23rd, 90 days from the date of enactment. However, this could change if the President signs the legislation before October 25th. As always, we will keep you up to date if that does happen.

Start looking for mandatory seat belts on motorcycles, protective eyewear and headgear for nursing babies, mandatory highway checkpoints for vehicle safety inspections, FBI monitored security cameras in every home, and mandatory fines plus jail time for cussing out loud. We can't be trusted to take care of ourselves, so we need the government to do it for us.

im not exactly a Pro-Hormone supporter but why ban somthing like this when theres much worse things such as ciggaretts? How many people died for pro-hormones last year? Ciggaretts?

Because the people behind prohormones don't have the lobbyists or the money that cig companies have.

It's politics.

lol i Live in canada.... prohormones have been banned quite a while. Our govt is supposedly iffy with creatine! And my moron of a professor is a member of the committee or whatever that helps carry out actions against sport drug use.

Canadian govt "cares" too much
