what are your goals? wanting to increase bench, deads and squat? designate a day for deadlifts. you could do deads and cleans on same day with just a couple more assistance lifts for your deadlift such as sldl, pullups or rows. personally i think 5 days a week is too much for a powerlifting routine. maybe try something like.... mon-bench day with 4 assistance lifts tues-deadlift day with 4 assitance lifts wed-off thurs-squat day with 4 assistance lifts fri-bicep,tricep and forearms weekend off

http://www.fitnessforoneandall.com/powerlifting/article/routines/powerlifting.htm here's kind of an example of what i'm talking about Kleverbuilder. now you wont see power cleans in this routine because its not a powerlift in most comps. what you will mostly see, 99% of the time, is bench/squat/deadlift. hope this is something else to help you with deciding where to put deadlifts. good luck to ya! and welcome to the site btw.

yes, that does help. the best way to increase your bench is to bench. you can do other tricep and chest workouts, but your going to get stronger in those other lifts. dont get me wrong they can help for sure, but bench more to increase bench. does that make sense? it sounds more to me that you want to bodybuild. powerlifting takes a tole on the body believe me. check out my journal and look at what kind of working sets i'm doin on my bench/squat/deadlift days. bodybuilders and powerlifters train quite differently.

ya i agree, after doing some reading my routine schedule is quite similar to kubla's. my only question at this point is deadlifts. i'll do a standard deadlift on back day, but should i add sumo deadlifts to legs day after squats...keep in mind my legs are my weak point and i'm trying to add mass and strength to them.

Squats should be sufficient enough.

Here is what I do for powerlifting workouts. Monday Max Effort Bench (Rotating between chains, bands, towel press, floor press, boards) Chest supported rows Lat pulldowns or pullups Tricep Extensions or 4 boards Pushdowns (W/bands or weight) Tuesday Deadlift (chains, bands, deficit or just straight dead) (I use sumo) Shrugs (high rep/high weight) Back extensions Leg curls/Pull throughs Chin-ups Wednesday Usually a day off, but can do cardio and some augs (upper back/tris) Thursday Repetition (80% of max)/Speed work (See above) - Rep work, each week progress 6x3, 6x4, 6x5, 6x6 - up the weight - repeat Boards (if on monday, not on thursday) (4 board) Triceps Lat Pulldowns/Face Pulls Friday Squat (Volume or Heavy) Leg press optional Back extensions Step Ups GHRs/Pull throughs Keep abs to 2 days a week as a supplement to your leg days. With deadlifting and squatting will come a pretty strong core. If you want to move big weight, you may have to sacrifice the 6-pack for awhile. Following these workouts has made my strength increase considerably over the last few months. PRs can be set every week as long as you are dedicated. If you need any clarification of what I've said, or just general comments, please let me know. I am more than willing to help! Good luck!
