Power Cleans are an overall shoulder builder but they also work lower and middle back, traps, arms quads, Ham, glutes and just about every onther muscle in the body... Great strength building exercise..

Yeah doing a power clean pretty much helps your body learn to explode off the ball, onto the puck, w.e I play hockey and doing power cleans have seriously helped me explode or accelerate faster and quicker. It's good for all of your body. When i do it i exaggerate the motion as much as possible to get the most out of it.

I do a sh*t ton of squats and really focus on core strength and shoulders. Lots of cardio and plyos too.
