I think members should be able to post polls just like posts. like what i posted in the teenage bodybuilding section, the chin up champ, that could have been a poll with saying that i can do 0-5, 5-10, 10-15....... chin ups, and you pick.

I could allow members to post polls in some forums.

But if it goes the way ratings did in Out of Bounds.. it's gone.

At the moment, Admins/Mods can make polls. Maybe having it for members would be a good idea. We could always try it. See how it goes.

Oh.. you will.

First member to post.. how big is your Johnson?

Gone.

I remember that ratings in Out of Bounds were called for. That was a suggestion. Turned them on.. good for a bit and then.. as you can see.. gets out of hand.

I think polls are a great idea until somebody abuses the crap out of them and makes them worthless. But I'll turn them on for the major forums and we will see how it goes.

Okay... they have been enabled in most of the forums..

Let me know if you find a forum that does not have the feature that really should. Thanks for the suggestion 8Pack

Poll creation was disabled as a top rule.. only admins could create them. Now that I changed that top level rule, each forum is controlled individually.

So members can now create polls in those forums where poll creation is allowed by anybody who has post permissions.

If you look now, you will see a poll button. Thanks for checking.

True.. per each forum. But the site permission was set that only admins could post polls which would override the individual forums.

That is not true anymore.
