Best way to lose that flab is having a good diet. Having a good diet you will lose the flab without the need of cardio. All though cardio would help on losing the extra calories on top of a healthy diet. P.S. welcome to DB !!!

Thats majorly overtraining. You could get far better gains by working less then half as hard as you been. Do you have access to a gym ?

right mate, check this out. as "7 inches" has already said, you are doing way too much. if you want your triceps or any muscle for that matter to grow, you have to work them hard! and you can never do that with your current rep range(200+) as you have said you are able to go to a gym for 5 days, have a look at this example below: mon (chest/abs) flat bench barbell press 3x8 incline dumbell press 3x8 incline dumbell flys 3x8 weighted crunches 3x10 leg raises 3x15 tues (legs) squats 3x8 leg press 3x8 deadlifts 3x8 calf raises 3x8 weds - rest or cardio thurs (back) lat pull downs 3x8 barbell rows 3x8 close grip pull ups 3x6 fri (shoulders/traps) barbell press 3x8 lateral raises 3x10 dumbell press 3x8 shrugs 3x8 upright rows 3x8 sat (arms) barbell curls 3x8 seated incline dumbell curls 3x8 concentration curls 3x6 skull crushers 3x8 Vbar push downs 3x8 over head extentions 3x8 sun rest/cardio as i say this is just an example you can use. the reason for the low rep range is because you will be using weights that allow you to do only about 8 or 10 before struglling. if you are not feeling the muscle working then you are using weights that are too light. the whole point is to use a weight that makes you concentrate on what you are doing. practice your form and do not be tempted by other guys you see in the gym. once you go in there, focus on what you are doing. momentum impresses others, good form impresses your muscles (something i just made up! LOL) you said you have a small layer of flab, so i am assuming you are not that overweight. you are only 16 and have the world ahead of you, so focus on doing it right and make it a lifestyle. that way you will not spend a lot of time recovering from silly injuries you could have avoided by using good form. be patient with it and the muscle will come, all in good time young Jedi! you have to also be eating well, so make sure every meal has some clean protein (egg whites, tuna, chicken, fish, etc) and avoid junk food most of the time. i say most of the time because at 16, i still want you to enjoy life and not be a zombie. just imagine, if you work hard, eat well, and rest well, by the time you get to 19 you will be fighting the fan mail off !LOL with regards to cardio, i have been adviced by loads of good people to do it because it helps you to stay healthy. so be active, not just in the gym, but out with freinds, footy (gunners4ever!!!) swimming and other activites. your clean diet as andy said will help keep the fat at bay, but simply by building muscles you will cause your body to burn more fat even when you sleep. do not look at the gym as a phase, but as a life long part of you that will help you in more ways than you can imagine. right, enough for now, my fingers ache and i need a wee! see ya mate
