Plateau?

I started a diet and exercise routine over the summer to get thinner because I'm aiming for the 6 pack. I am currently at 180 (started at 195) and I was losing weight until recently I began to plateau. My weight loss program is basically a 5-day a week workout routine with weight lifting followed by a 45 minute cardio workout immediately after. Suggestions?

Switch from 45 minute low intensity cardio to HIIT. Switch from 5 days training to 2 days on/1day off. Maybe use CKD as a weight-loss tool. An EC stack might help as well. Just like you would in training when you plateau, adjust your calories and change something.

You can bump up your calories for a few days to help jump start your metabolism again, then drop it back down, and progressively drop it lower. It may even be as simple as your eating at maintenance now and you simply need to drop the calories more. Whats your calorie intake like? also changing up your cardio is a good idea, your body adapts to cardiovascular training much faster then resistance training. If you have been doing 45 minutes this whole time, try doing 10-20 minutes of HIIT, start running at a faster pace, or a higher incline. I would recommend changing things up cardio wise at the very least every 2 weeks.

Okay, I will give hiit a try instead, thank you. My diet is usually 20g carbs 50g proteins and 7-10g fat per meal with 4-6 meals a day. I also drop the carbs at the final meal. I do cheat some on fridays, which I could eliminate.
