 Periodization plan needed for a marathon

Periodization plan needed for a marathon - Thursday, August 17, 2006 9:59 AM
Hi ppl,

I need to make a periodized plan which will run for 24 weeks to run a marathon of 26miles.  What i need to include is how i should split the weeks into mesocycles and also what type of training i should be doing (cv, resistant - training methods + intensity)

All i need is a rough idea, an overview of some sort that will make it effect and achievable for my friend.
