My dad got us some perfect pushups for Christmas, I have yet to use them. IIRC, you use the perfect pushup if you have wrist problems. Personally, I just do pushups on my knukles(sp), gives me a little extra depth, I might try putting my fists on some barbell plates for added depth. As for the perfect pushup being worth $40USD, I don't know, ours are still unopened in the living room. I don't think I would spend the money on the perfect pushup considering I can get the little bit that would benefit me, by doing a little jeryrigging with weight plates and a towel.

haha my sis got them for me for christmas, to be honest i really never do pushups but since i have them sitting there i have used them. I have to say it does feel a whole lot more natural with the wrist pivoting and being able to go deeper. But i still feel doing pushups is a waste, i do them on my off days for chest to promote bloodflow, thats about it

I don't care how much they really help or whatever. It's one of my goals in life.. lol. well it is obviously different because you are a woman, i remember back in gym class when we had to do pushups guys did full ones while the girls did them on their knees. I always found it funny when the gym teacher was like no susie get on your knees

Soccerking, why do you think pushups are useless?
Shoulders back. Head high. Always progressing. Supps: whey, flax oil, food, water and Super Pump, it makes me dizzy sometimes

ORIGINAL: ts66stang Soccerking, why do you think pushups are useless? Prolly just because They will not put on mass like sling heavy iron. If you can do 100 pushups you'll have good endurence but you won't be trining for hypertrophy or strength.

Perfect pushups are 19.99 at wal-mart. Just to save you $20.

ORIGINAL: ts66stang Soccerking, why do you think pushups are useless? just like kingyoto said, they increase endurance and not strength or size. I do use the perfect pushup though after chest/tri days and do a set of 10 pushups extremely slow and hold it at the very bottom and get a really good stretch in my chest

I have some, they work well. If you lift at a gym on a normal basis I would hold off but if you do a lot of pushups on your own I would say they are a solid investment.

I was actually given the perfect push ups for christmas and I have been using it for about 2 months now. I actaully really like it. I dont think it will bulk you up, but for off days from the gym, this is a good tool to have at home. I was also wondering why are some $40 and some $20, is there a difference. The one I got was $20. I hope I didnt get jipped. Body
