http://youtube.com/watch?v=JEbYtOEftc0 Anyone do any of this sort of thing? Me and a buddy have been doing it on and off for quite a while, and we're getting pretty good. Only problem is I can't do a handstand, any tips on that?

Love that stuff. Never knew it had a name though. I haven't been quite doing that, but I've been finding ways to climb random stuff for years. The locations they find for those videos are always so perfect. Edit: and if you can't do a handstand then have your buddy hold your legs real soft while you try to balance, he should only tap you a little bit to keep you up, eventually, you won't need his help. I do tripods to headstands all the time because it's kinda peaceful, but it's good for practicing balance if you can't hold a handstand yet.

That's a good idea. Everytime I try and do a handstand I usually get my whole body up, and topple. One time it was raining and I wanted to see if I could do a handstand after a running start, like do a handstand and slide on the ground, I figured with the increased speed I'd slide on my hands and then flip up to my feet like a real badass. I got so into thinking about it I forgot to put my hands out and landed on my face. I think getting all the mud out of my mouth made me better in bed though, so at least something positive came out of it.

I knew this would come up eventually on here. I have been doing this for about two years, never seriously. So so so much fun and great exercise. I mostly stick to climbing, jumping gaps and a bit less of the flipping and all that. I did however just recently get backflips figured out. Parkour is sweet.

Parkour's also been inspirational, and it looks damn fun. I don't normally attempt parkour or things like that but from practicing it for a while I've learnt to do different kinds of front flips which make me feel and look cool. :p Great exercise.

That's awesome and never surprises me how in tune with their bodies some people can be. I'd love to try that, but I've always been afraid of landing on my head. I have bad luck sometimes and it would be totally fitting for me to wind up in a wheelchair, LOLOL. Awesome stuff.

Even with a helmet, you could break a jaw or neck, lol. That's such a sweet video. Bet cops are glad not all criminals can do that crap....boy would their job be harder, haha.

ORIGINAL: toolman4052 http://www.nothingtoxic.com/media/1183780779/The_Most_Unbelievable_Parkour_Jump_of_All_Time The guy who did that was named Sebastian, something his last name evades me. He's the guy who owns www.parkour.com and he is probably the best in the world. That jump isn't incredible. It's just really high. He cleared that gap by a lot. I'm not saying I'd do it, but it'd be sweeter if it was so far he'd jump and have to grab it and pull himself up, dangling over the field. I saw a video once of a guy who went to clear a broken bridge or a river, wasn't very high. It was probably 12 or 13 feet long, maybe 10 feet up anyway this guy ran, and wasn't going to make it, or messed up and got the bottom of his foot on the ledge of the other side, right on the corner. He kicked off it and did a backflip and fell in the river. That would have been the sweetest jump ever if he made it. Oh and for your woman parkour thing, I've never seen any women doing it.
