Oxydrene by KB. I've been curious about the product. And being curious and having a Visa card is not always a good combination. So I purchased it. I should have read more reviews because the following sums up my feelings as well. And Par Deus of AvantLabs pretty much said the same thing about KB products. Crap. Expensive crap.

So let my mistakes be somebody's finds on a search engine or while browsing this forum. There are great supplements out there that work. This isn't one.

Claims · “Deep Tissue Oxygenator” · Increased oxygen saturation of blood and tissues · Increased energy levels · Faster recovery (exercise) · Maximizes muscle growth · Reduces aging · Speeds fat loss · Improves sexual stamina · Promotes world peace (just kidding – but they’ve claimed just about everything else)

Theory Oxydrene is a blend of 3 herbs; Sedum Crenulata (also known as Rhodiola); Hippophae (also known as Sea Buckthorn); Fructi Lychii Chinesis (also known as Schizandra) – each of which has been used traditionally in “tonics” for increasing energy levels.

Science Both Rhodiola and Schizandra have been shown to be effective in mediating various responses to stress and in increasing energy levels in humans. In animal studies, sea buckthorn has been shown to strengthen cardiac pump function and myocardial contractility in dogs with heart failure. It also appears to improve the heart’s ability to use oxygen in dogs and in test tube cultures of rat and guinea pig heart cells. Unfortunately, there are no published studies on the Oxydrene product or on the 500mg blend of these three herbs to support any of the claims made for the product.

Summary: You could put together these same ingredients in higher doses if you wanted at 1/2 the cost. And there's little study done to support the claims. I noticed nothing at all. Well.. a bigger Visa bill. Save your money. Buy protein or creatine or a few other supplements that work.
