Owwww...I am sore!!

okay I have been working out for a long time. Today was rough at the gym. My whole entire back is sore. My upper back, my shoulders, my lower back, middle, ...THE WHOLE THING!!! Now, I am drinking lots of water because I will admit my intake was bad today and yesterday. no pain just soreness and tightness. I was thinking about ibprophen but I dont know how that will help... I really feel 30 years old today!

I really feel 30 years old today! I WISH! Treat yourself to a massage, they work wonders on soreness. I'm ready for another. I take advil on the bad days. Do you use good joint supplements? They help too.

I stack joint support...lol. Fish oil, MSM, Glucosamine, and chondroitin. I notice a difference with/without it.

jane.. are you taking any el glutamine? and also.. potassium. you might consider it. really helps with the repair process and that "sore feeling" *hint* eat a banana, they are loaded with potassium. as for the glutamine, just get some powder. it's relatively cheap.. and you can add it to protein shakes or whatever.

Jane no I don't. I was going to ask for suggestions re joint support. I think that is a great idea. High intake of protein can cause uric acid build up in joints which can cause joint aches and pains, especially in extemeties such as fingers and toes, just so you know incase your joints are hurting

hey thanks y'all! yeah I do eat banana sometimes for that reason. Yesterday was just real bad. I was not able to do much yesterday in the gym due to the soreness and tightness. I do feel a whole lot better today. Yeah I will look into the glutamine and the other suggestions.
