Hi, I just want to know if anyone here can give me tips on gaining more endurance.. I get really tired and pains in my ribs if I run for too long and just cant punch for long either, i get really worn out.. i'm pretty out of shape, but i'm not fat, or even chubby, I have pretty built abs, enough to see them, and I weigh 130 lbs, i'm 15 years old, and take daily vitimans and drink milk and water all day, I have a punching bag, weights, and just the normal equipment, I would really appreciate it if someone could give me some tips, my brothers a navy seal but hes always gone with active duty, and pretty soon will be gone for 2 years so I cant get any help from him.. appreciate any help. Thanks PS: Am I underweight for my age? I just turned 15 nov 23rd

Thanks for your reply, my problem is I don't have any access to gyms or those exercise bikes or anny of that stuff, i'm just an avg 15 y/o.. I have a punching bag, weights, and am really motivated to do anything I can to improve my endurance in running, punching and just in general anything, I intend in following my grandpa and 2 brothers footsteaps and joining the service, but I just dont have any endurance to do much and don't know where to start, I really need tips on this, I'm not really looking to get huge bulky, I just want to be able to last, and be strong, i'm willing to try anything suggested, but i'm very new to the workout thing.. i don't know alot of workouts or anything about nutrition, other than eating fruits n veggies are good, I take vitimans and drink milk alot though, so I guess that helps abit, so thats why i'm here, i've seen alot of really smart people here and looking forward to comments and any help I can get thanks.

If I were you I would run at a moderate pace for as long as I could and time myself and each day push yourself to run for one extra minute. It is easier to eat a whole elephant in little bites. Good luck.
