I have been reading about all different number of reps per set.
I used to use the old standby of 4 sets of 10, but recently switched to 4 sets of 6 and this seems to be working well.  I have also seen a lot of people who prefer 5 sets of 5.

I am just want to know what others think is best for strength gain.
Or perhaps you have a different idea altogether about what is best for strength gain.

5x5 is the keystone in the entire spectrum of strength training. Ideally, you would like to start with higher volume and lower intensity in the beginning of a training program. Each week increase the intensity and lower the volume. I can guarantee success with this approach.
