One side of my body is growing quicker than the other - Thursday, October 23, 2008 8:01 AM ( #1 )

I need some help/advice Ive been training almost two years and had some very good gains.  Although recently I have noticed that the left hand side of my upper body seems to be growing slightly quicker than my right.  Is there any way of countering this so that I dont have to go to the gym and just train one side of my body???

Sometimes it will happen. just stick to it and it will even out.

I was told to use dumbbells whenever possible to prevent that. so OH press. all benches. upright rows. Everything that you can use two seperate grips instead of a single bar will help you. It doesnt allow you to lead with your stronger side.

Hope this helps
Sometimes you just gotta go out there and get it done, You know.. Give Er

I have the same problem with my chest. The right side is larger than the right. As Chris mentioned, I hope it will even out over time.
