One Arm Trick

i recently broke my right hand and hav been unable to work out any of my upper body. after working out for 6 months its hard to watch my arms chest shoulders and back atrophy. i assumed there was no soution and i would just hav to gut it out for another five weeks, bulk up my legs and core, and then get back to where i was as soon as i can crunch my upper again. But today i heard that if i were to work out my left arm then it would trick my other arm aswell and i would experience gains on both sides on both arms. anyway it sounds goofy to me and im pretty sure it would just result in an incredible inbalance but just wondering if anyone has heard this before?

Your frustration is understandable but dont make of the mistake of taking short-cuts or getting back into it too soon. Let it heal. Continue to be patient. Injuries are unfortunate and frustrating but permanent injuries as a result of avoidable causes can cause endless regret. Youve lasted 6 month, wait patiently a little longer and get back into it slowly and cautiously when your body is ready.
