Old Navy is Retiring...For a Weekend

After more than 30-years in the corporate work place, with such communications companies as the New York Daily News, NBC-TV, MTV, CNBC, the Weather Channel, the Learning Channel, the US Chamber of Commerce and United Press International (UPI), I am officially retiring as Vice President, Corporate Communications of my current company on Friday, February 1st. As you know, while working in the business world, I was also a US Navy reserve officer and retired from the Naval Reserve as a Navy Captain in 2003.

I'm going to enjoy my retirement... for the weekend.

On Monday, February 4th I will live my passion and begin work as an Elite Personal Trainer for the Mountain Brook YMCA, the Downtown YMCA and the health club run by the Birmingham YMCA at the Mercedes Automotive Plant outside of the city.

In addition to my personal training job, I am an employee of the World Natural Sports Organization - WNSO and am Vice President of FAME Senior Athletics. My responsibilities with FAME include managing their men's and women's Masters Program.

I will continue to train to compete in bodybuilding Pro Shows, judge contests, promote contests and write about our Sport.

Please wish me success in my new career in Personal Training. Thanks.

Scott

Now the REAL job begins.  Transforming bodies.  That's one heck of a sweet transition.  2 days off and already a new job.  I'd wish you luck but after know you for so long, I think your CLIENTS will need the luck.  I've seen the workouts you do.  If it's possible to get sore via just reading, we'll I'm living proof.

Congratulations Scott.  We'll be in touch for sure.  Maybe more now!?
