Old navy - Tuesday, July 29, 2008 6:50 PM ( #1 )
Old navy,

We have never talked before, but I have an urgent question. I am 14 yrs old and severly underweight I guess you could say, I take protein shakes 1-3 times a day, and take a weight gainer mixed with Ice Cream at night, from 2-4 hrs before I go to bed.

I really want to try body building. I am also having a really hard time putting on weight. I don't goto the gym because my mom wont let me. I do work out almost everyday, not counting weekends, for about an hour. I do have a bowflex and dumbells and a curl bar with weights. We are going to get a bar I could use for dead lifts and squats and BP. We also are looking into buying me a bench to where I could BP and do leg extentions, and curls.

I want to know what you think I should do to gain HEALTHY weight, and be a Body Builder.

I am also looking into a bulking diet.

Any advise would be great,
Thanks Old Navy and happy lifting,

Kris142

Kris.

Thanks for your message.  My advice is to work out with weights no more than three times a week.  It looks as if you are burning a lot of calories during your training and not eating enough carbs to help you add weight.

Try this diet.  It should help you add some weight:

Thanks for the mighty reply, nice to see one from you!

This sounds like A bit too much for my stomach to handle, but I will show my mom and see if she can help me out on this one...
