Old navy, We have never talked before, but I have an urgent question. I am 14 yrs old and severly underweight I guess you could say, I take protein shakes 1-3 times a day, and take a weight gainer mixed with Ice Cream at night, from 2-4 hrs before I go to bed. I really want to try body building. I am also having a really hard time putting on weight. I don't goto the gym because my mom wont let me. I do work out almost everyday, not counting weekends, for about an hour. I do have a bowflex and dumbells and a curl bar with weights. We are going to get a bar I could use for dead lifts and squats and BP. We also are looking into buying me a bench to where I could BP and do leg extentions, and curls. I want to know what you think I should do to gain HEALTHY weight, and be a Body Builder. I am also looking into a bulking diet. Any advise would be great, Thanks Old Navy and happy lifting, Kris142

It looks as if you are burning a lot of calories during your training and not eating enough carbs to help you add weight. Try this diet. It should help you add some weight: Daily Lean Mass Gain Diet Plan for Kris Prepared by Scott “Old Navy” Hults – July 30, 2008 Pre-Training: 1 Protein Shake: 3 Scoops, 12 Oz Water Post-Training: 1 Protein Shake: 3 Scoops, 12 Oz Water Meal 1 (About 9 AM) 2 whole egg and 4 egg whites 8 Oz 93% Lean Beef 1 Cup Oatmeal before cooking Meal 2 (About 11 AM) Protein Drink: 3 Scoops Protein Powder and 1 Oz Whipping Cream, 12 Oz Water Meal 3 (About 1 PM) 12 Oz Chicken 6 Oz Sweet Potato or ½ Cup Brown Rice 3 Cups of Vegetables or Salad With 1 Oz Low Cal Dressing Meal 4 (About 3 PM) Protein Drink: 3 Scoops Protein Powder and 1 Oz Whipping Cream, 12 Oz Water Meal 5 (About 6 PM) 10 Oz 93% Lean Beef, Chicken, Turkey, Fish or Once or Twice Weekly Sirloin Steak 3 Cups Vegetables Meal 6 (About 8 PM) 1 Protein Shake: 3 Scoops, 12 Oz Water. Good luck and let me know how this works for you. Old Navy

Agreed. It's crazy to look back on how I used to eat.
