Okay its not my body! - Saturday, March 08, 2008 12:20 AM ( #1 )
Ok I wanted to have a little discussion over this.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9JSUMPhrpc

this dude right here has about the goal I wanna achieve in my life time, no further than this. I am subscibed to his videos, i watch em all the time because he has so innovative way of training and uses some cool stuff to do it, its my source of inspiration.

Now i was going through his videos because i was a lil bored and started to read comments. The man claims he uses
-no supplement
-no diet
-no workout program
-all home gym ( 1 times a week maybe he goes to gym)
-no steroids

All we know about the diet is that he eats like a pig, thats what it is, eating like a pig the good foods and if he cheats he's gonna put double effort in working out.

in this video i just linked, you can see in the comment (i think its the second one) he's saying he dont use programs cause he doesn't trust in them, he says he trains whenever he wants without specific muscle group order. if you look at the vids, the weights are everywhere, backyard, basement, living room EVERYWHERE... he trains all day everyday and say it works that way cause hes not a bodybuilder hes a body sculptor.

I kind just hate when he says he works that way cause our ancestors were slaves, doesnt make him slave nowadays.

anyways i posted this here cause its mainly about his physique and the way he achieves it so.. yea

What do you guys think about it? if u workout like him is it gonna happen and what is difference between bodybuilder n body sculptor?

he's just expressing his philosophy of exercising

I figure what he means is his body is the physical product after generations of slavery and the technical programs that most bodybuilders use do not apply best to that kind of physique, like say you come from a family of carpenters...you're more likely to have big strong forearms than other people...maybe a weak example but hopefully you get it

Yea i get what you mean but i though the basics of building mass was to train then rest, but he doesn't seem to rest at all... he just trains all day everyday! can it actually work?

and again what is difference between bodybuilder and body sculpter?

i seriously thought his pants were gonna fall off..lol.

I dont think that would work becasue it would increase the risk of overtraining. And the difference between the two "body whatevers" is one goes for mass and definition(builder) and the other goes more of an athlete look, muscle with definition, but no bulky

almost the same thing..just a different name.

I think that guy just happens to be blessed with great genetics more than anything else becuse his theory doesn't seem to make much sense but then again what the hell do I know his physique is a hell of a lot better than mine.

I don't think it's amazing.. I think he is only big to you guys because of his age, his muscles are more matured.  You look up to him the same way a 14 year old boy looks up to a 18 year old with a some what built physique.   This guy has years upon years on you guys and his metabolism is slower due to his age.   He may look GOOD to you guys but in my mind he has the genetics to go much farther if he had the drive "Instead of making some home videos of him self doing half ass work outs for kicks"

If you want to look like him, lift weights on occasion and watch what you eat for the next 10 years or so.  If you want to get to where he is at faster, get your ass in gear eat like a mad man and lift the same way.

He eats a lot and has good genes and he obviously works hard. He would also be twice as big and jacked if he cared about what he ate and had a specific program,  but thats just my opinion.

sorry. but i agree with "ibendbarbells".

ain't nothin' special about this guy.  decent metabolism.  he is definately cut up a bit.  But to me.. he is not the epitome of a bodybuilder.
I have better goals than that.

My name is FOX.... and I approve this message.

I would say that the dude's physique is impressive.

I don't know what he does and how it works for him, but the dude is big.

Well your body is very very adaptive to what you do to it... After constant stress your body will adapt to it and will no longer be stressed.

If you work out all day everyday your muslces will just get worn out and you will be destroying your muscle fibers/protein. Eventually if you keep doing it your body will adapt and your muslces will get bigger and stronger... I don't see why anyone couldn't do it. I worked out everyday for about 3 hours before I went to basic and I could tell a difference in 2 weeks. So yeah this is very possible...

Your muslces work off what you eat the day before and after a workout you just destroyed all that food you ate, so in order to keep strength for the next day you got to eat ALOT everyday...
