Okay I just finished my first week back to the gym...
I did:
Monday - Chest and Abs
Tuesday - Arms
Wend - Bike ride
Thurs - Shoulders and Back
Fri - Legs and Abs
Sat - Off
Sun - Jogged

First off I took it slow I felt everything the next day but I didn't want to over do it my first week.
My problem was on Sat was my off day...  I was Bored.  I felt like I had tons of energy and I couldn't sleep that night.
I went out with the kids and played with water guns and sprinklers but I just couldn't burn the energy.
Does anyone else have this problem with off days...  What do you all do?  Is this a stupid question?

I feel your pain...Smile

You could take a light jog or continue playing games with your kids, as it helps release energy. Make sure you eat a bit less on off days as well, because you're not burning as many calories on those days.

Yea, I have this problem as well.  It looks like our routines are structured similar with the off days.  For me, I say to myself that it's the rest days that are going to allow me to grow and get stronger... so I just chill out.  I hear you though, especially if it sounds like you are getting back into the swing of things.  For me currently and the routine that I am doing... the soreness from my Back day starts setting in around Saturday, so when that hits... I don't want to do anything at all.

Sure Enough...  Sat came and my back and shoulders were stiff...
Sunday I went for my Cardio Day Run and my Legs were burning faster than before.
IT FELT GREAT....

You doing alright ! I think....       Working legs is very important..... most folks dont realize this!   I think if old people  work the legs more they would not walk about like a turtle super, slow -super slow- super slow, my opinion.
