ON Classic Whey - Thursday, June 05, 2008 6:44 AM
Hi guys,

I mentioned something about ON's Classic Whey in another thread and per request here is a little more info on the product.

This is a high quality whey protein product that is VERY affordable.  Protein powder prices have gone up a lot lately and I know personally , a lot of my clients grumble about it!  So I suggest this product if they are focused on price...I still want them to use something that is effective!!

Another big plus with this product is it's Microfractions.  It has smaller proteins called Microfractions, which are naturally-occurring, including Alpha-Lactalbumin, Beta-Lactoglobulin, Immunoglobulins, Glycomacropeptides, and Lactoferrin that may have various health and performance benefits beyond supplying essential nitrogen-based compounds.

It has 21g of protein (a blend of ultrafiltered whey concentrate, ion exchange whey isolate, cross filtered whey isolate, and whey peptides) and it only has 1.5g of fat.  It has only 4g of carbs (1 from sugar) and it has over 3.5g of glutamine.  This fits the bill for my clients because I always recommend a powder with less than 9g of carbs, low sugar and low fat and I suggest supplementing with glutamine :)  I have a lot of clients on weight loss programs and this works well with their nutrition.  For my athletes, the BCAA's are a nice benefit....keeps that muscle while we condition :)

It comes in Double Rich Chocolate, Vanilla Ice Cream, Delicious Strawberry and Banana Cream flavors.  There are 2 and 5lb sizes.

Try it out!!

Becky
