OMFG..
 
Bought some vanilla flavored whey protein at rite aid.. came in a giant tub for like 10 bucks.
 
tried to stir it in water.. just made a watery muck of.. **** at the bottom of the glass
 
blended it with some skim milk with electric blender, it worked well.
 
put the cup to my mouth, drink
 
THIS WHEY PROTEIN TASTES LIKE ****! I literally gagged and spit it into the sink.. The most AWFUL thing I've EVER tasted I swear to god, and I've eaten cow balls (rocky mountain oysters) and **** a whole lot nastier than that (but i admit the rocky mountain oysters.. tasted good!) anyway back on subject.. What's the BEST for you and best TASTING whey protein out there, that isn't priced its weight in gold? It doesn't have to be flavored..
 
Also what do you mix your whey in to make it taste better? I heard you can take milk and make chocholate milk with it but..

I dont like chocolate and i think im allergic to something in ferrero rochet (expensive chocolates) because the 2 times ive tried them i threw up violently so i dont go for choccy flavoured things, i have 2 supps, protein which i get body fortress strawberry which has a bitter tang to it, but other than that tastes of strawberry goodness and creatine which im starting again 1st january, which is fruit punch which tastes LOVELY, if creatine wasnt deadly in large doses id have it all the time LOL.
 
P.S. vanilla flavoured supps seem to have a rep for tasted awful-even if you like vanilla lol

I agree with you there Link. I got some Vanilla protein and couldn't drink it it tastes so bad and I love anything vanilla too. Got lucky and they let me exchange it though. I have been using GNC's 100% chocolate whey and it doesn't taste too terrible and it is not too bad on price if you get it at the discounted times.

walmarts body fortress protien. 12 bucks for 2 pounds . not bad taste. 20 g protien  good stuff por the proce.

Mine tastes like a milkshake but thinner obviously.

My general rule for trying new brands of protein is :Always buy chocolate first! If the chocolate is pretty good drink it until you're sick of it. Then start trying other kinds, vanilla first, then strawberry, then others if any. If the others are decent you can start cycling them all.

My favorite is NitroTech Chocolate, then next I would go with Ultra Iso Whey Lemon Chiller.

I had the same problem, the vanilla tasted like dried eggs. Once you finish that bottle, try another flavor. I choose choclate and it's great, just like nesquick.
Recipe:
3 cups of water
Crush Ice
2 tbsp of peanut butter
1 banana
3 scoops of Choclate Whey Protein
Taste just like a milk shake
