Numbness

Hi All, Been on this site a few times to look at posts so thought I would join up now and become a member. I have been doing weights now on and off for a year but since june I have been really going for it as I want a nicer toned body instead of an out of shape one. I am not overweight as I used to run for the national team when I was younger and found it hard to put weight on, now that I am 23 I am 11.5st and starting to get a bit bigger around the edges but with the training plan I have in place I know this will go. I do have a question though which I need answering, after a workout I will do a warm down and have a protien shake etc and then one before I go to bed but when I wake up in the morning my are and hands are numb like a dead arm and I cant figure out why, this morning for example It took me a while to turn off my alarm as my hands would not work. Now Im not overly worried about this but it does concern me as It must mean I am doing something wrong with my workout? I have been sicking to a good plan for the last few months and I am not over training or anything and feel great after the workout but it seems that this numbness happens. Now it does not happen all the time but very frequently and not after a particular exercise either otherwise I would have stopped doing that exercise. I was just wondering if anyone knew why I was getting this numbness and what I can do to stop it? Thanks for reading Lee.

Im dont think a particular exercise good make you go numb the following morning. It could be bad circulation but i dont know you should see your doctor.

Ok might be an idea for me to do that as I thought it might be something to do with my training.

Are you sleeping on your arms... that would explain it and have nothing to do with the workout.
