I have been lifting for 3 years and have not done legs to religiously. I started training them 2 or 3 months ago and have gained 15 pounds. If you leave legs out of training your making a big mistake, i know a lot of beginners ingnore leg workout. Remeber your body will only be as good as your weakest part.

I have to agree with you on this one. When you go to a gym you will usually see plenty of guys who do arms, chest. And girls who do abs and legs.

But rarely do you see the guys squatting. Usually its only the extremelty muscular ones that do legs.

Ignoring your legs is like ignoring half of your body. Glad you packed on the mass and best of luck increasing in other areas.

If you only had one exercise to choose from for best gains it should be squats. They will stimulate growth hormone if worked on hard enough, and will help your whole body gain size and strenght indirectly. They are also great for endurance and stimulating the metabolism.
