New to bodybuildin, need help, suggestions n stuff - Sunday, October 08, 2006 9:32 PM
sup people, im new to this bodybuildin stuff and i just wanted some advice into what i can do. i'm 16, weigh about 66-67 kilos (148-149 pounds) im about 170 cm (5ft 7inches about) and i am a bit fat in the stomach area :P.

also, im asian, so will this affect my body muscle mass and stuff?(im just assuming that asians like me have a smaller body build, i ask my white friends who are about 68 kilos, but they are much more lean and thinner than me)

i play tennis (my main sport) and i do have a basketball layin around so i can shoot a couple of hoops every now and then.

so what the hell can i do to increase my mucsle? i dont have any gym gear at home and it is sometimes difficult for me to get to a gym!

thanks in advance guys

being asian will have little effect on bodybuilding, my cousin is half asian and he is ripped as hell.
firstly 68kg isnt that skinny i was 65-66 kg when i started bodybuilding (but i was 15) now im almost 78kg.
in order to gain mass you will need to eat alot of the right foods and weight training is a big contributor to gaining size. also if you cant make it to a gym regularly just do equiptmentless excersises such as push-ups, sit-ups, dips, etc etc. if you can find somthing that has a littel bit of weight in it chuck it on your back while doing pushups to make it more difficult also you can hold objects againts your chest while doing sit ups.
hope this helps, if you can get to a gym you will need a routine. just look around this site and otehr and you will find a routine that suits you.
