Hello I am new here and working towards 1 of my 2 goals. I NEED to loose 50+ pounds first. Then I need to work on my definition. I have currently stepped up cardio, stepped down calories and am trying to get used to it. Any advice would be appreciated. I am sure you get posts like these a lot but I am just looking for some help. I am borderline overweight and am very unhappy with what my body has become. I was an active child but for some reason just got lazy as I got older. I know I can lose the weight I just can't seem to stay motivated. Any tips for how you keep your mind set on the goal would be great. I also am a very picky eater. I hate veggies of all kind. Even as a young girl I could not eat them. They are just not good to me. This has become a problem. I know I need them in my diet but just can't stand the taste of them. So any help with alternatives for them would help as well. Sorry this is alot to pack into one post but I am not entirely sure where I am supposed to post this yet. Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

Thats your first problem, taste should have nothing to do with what you put into your body.

Go the site above.  (Dan is da man)

Go to the Nutrition Section (the top threads).
There is a lot of info/links there. It is a great start.

Let us know what you eat now.......we can give suggestions.  also see about adding veggies to stews, roasted veggies n meats combo, soups, and try to see if you can get to like spinach, green beans, asparagus or broc first, they are the best choices.
otherwise you seem to be doing the right things to get those goals, just keep he progression going but slow.
