Just found this web site. Looks good, just need some time to wade through and find my way around..... I will be frequenting the 'over 35' section since I am 58 years old. My body building/weight lifting started at Zuvers' Gym in Costa Mesa, Ca. in 1973, when I was 23. Back then, there were mens days and womens days. The opposite sex was not allowed to walk into the gym if it wasn't your day. The first co-ed gym was 'Adam and Eves Health Spa' in Fullerton. I am not a stranger to form, technique and diet [we are all on a diet, just what TYPE of diet]. The owner of the gym would walk through and shout his truisms such as, "If you can't lift it with form, you can't lift it!" How true and valuable. At 58, I have not had a weight lifting injury my whole weight lifting career. Not that I don't or can't lift; I still can bench [with strict form] 315 lbs. [each week]. No wheat products, corn products, dairy or sugar. These are words to live by. My wife doesn't like it much but I know what makes me operate the best; mentally, emotionally and last but not least, physically. I used to have athsma. When I dropped the four bad things, the athsma dissapeared. Enough rambling.... Keep up the hard work. Your body and mind will thank you for it!
